Quartets competing in Canberra will entertain in a convivial, relaxed atmosphere before the contests start later in the week.
This is a seated event with a light meal and drinks available for purchase.
The show starts at 7.00pm on Wednesday 3 September 2025 at the ARC Theatre, National Film and Sound Archive.

An immersive 4-hour experience with Australia’s premier vocal ensemble and Barbershop Harmony Society’s international silver and bronze medalist quartet.
Join The Idea of North, Australia’s most celebrated a cappella group, for a rare and enriching four-hour workshop that blends expert instruction, live coaching, and musical inspiration, alongside First Take Quartet who will bring their own brand of tight harmony, charisma, and barbershop brilliance to the session.They will present a featured performance and lead a workshop segment focused on quartet singing, barbershop techniques, and ensemble precision.
If you're a passionate ensemble singer and/or educator, this is your chance to learn from some of the most skilled and versatile performers in the vocal world today.
